Construction 102 in Canada is a collaborative initiative between the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) and their partner construction associations across Canada. Construction 102 in Canada supplements the essential two-day Construction 101 in Canada course. Designed for those working in a construction office, consulting office, project owner/developer office, on-site field office or providing support services in both the construction and design sectors who may be new or recently introduced to industrial, commercial, institutional and civil construction (ICI+C) in Canada.
Building on Construction 101 in Canada, Construction 102 introduces the attendee to a deeper understanding of two critical and fundamental themes and industry best practices. Advanced Procurement; Advanced contract administration, and standardized contract terms and conditions A third theme is presented to attendees to discuss and contemplate current trends, future trends and tools available and deployed today in the Canadian construction industry; specifically, the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.
